Happy Haus, the new totally eco-friendly French brand
Designing clothes with no environmental footprint? This is the challenge stylishly taken up by Happy Haus, a trendy young brand that stands out with its timeless ready-to-wear, entirely produced in line with sustainable development principles.
Ecologically produced clothing
Although barely known among the general public, Happy Haus’ signature piece is already causing a stir. For good reason: they are so-called « Detox » jeans in denim and cotton, whose manufacture has been unconditionally approved by Greenpeace. In short, a distinction that the label owes to its GOTS-certified materials and dyes, as well as its buttons made of wood and corozo.
On other pieces, the cuts and fabrics allow the clothes to be worn all year round, as the house’s key basics – such as the jumpsuit or denim shirt dress – are combined with seasonal micro-collections.
Imbued with a casual feel, Happy Haus’ designs reveal a carefully considered, natural and feminine aesthetic sprinkled with an irresistible nonchalance.
A brand, an attitude
The brand’s founder, German-born Sandy, left her native Frankfurt 15 years ago in the hope of one day being able to found this label that would reflect her values and attitude. After studying at ESMOD fashion school, followed by initial experience with the mischievous Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, the young woman took off on other more commercial fashion adventures, which would serve as an antidote. Sandy made up her mind: she wanted to break free from the seasonal system, get away from trends and create clothes without an expiry date.
A passionate environmentalist, she strives to surround herself with partners and service providers who share the same values. A stance that she combines with a design that reflects her personality: natural, relaxed and unmistakably feminine.
