Discovering natural beauty with Madame Botanic
At a time when natural beauty is all the rage, we’ve made a discovery at the other end of the globe that has won us over: Madame Botanic, a brand founded in Australia but by a French woman, Sarah Signor.
The brand history
Sarah Signor, Madame Botanic’s creator, has had a rather unconventional career path. After changing jobs several times, from architecture to cooking through giant Kapla building workshops, she discovered a passion for plants six years ago.
It was a skin problem that conventional treatments were unable to treat that plunged her into the exciting world of plants. She then discovered a fascinating world and above all a simplicity of use with surprising results that she can no longer do without.
After a great deal of research, Sarah successfully managed to get rid of her daughter Mona’s eczema and experienced her first great sense of satisfaction: “I would even say it was an extraordinary emotion,” she tells us. She realised that the remedy that she had concocted for her using natural ingredients worked!
She then decided to train in order to learn all about plant oils and their properties on skin, then she began to formulate serums and balms herself for her friends and family… Madame Botanic was born!
The Madame Botanic product range
Madame Botanic offers soaps and oils for sale, as well as shampoo and conditioner bars along with serums, which you can find on the site: madamebotanic.com.au
In the same way as she gained her knowledge, in the future Sarah would like to create a guide to pass it on in turn. She would like to offer a guide to learning how to recognise, choose and use the right ingredients for yourself. The main idea is that everyone takes back control over their skin and can make real choices.
Her favourite product: The Delicate Hemp soap bar. It is specially formulated for ultra-sensitive skin. It is a real caress in the shower.
