The design studio Masquespacio has designed the third store for Kento Shop, the Valencian takeaway sushi chain. Masquespacio expresses its highly colourful aesthetic and geometric shapes with a retro touch. A mix between an American diner and a traditional Japanese restaurant, the new Kento restaurant stands out with its originality.

Japanism was the theme of the ninth Young Talent contest organised by the fashion school ModeEstah, which every year gives budding young designers the opportunity to reveal their talent. A competition open to all fashion enthusiasts without any prior training, which young Elisey Argirov won hands down with an artistic project inspired by the delicate art of origami and the fabulous work of the Japanese designer Issey Miyake.

The new Yin jewellery shop located in a vast shopping centre at the heart of Beijing in China is just 10.6 metres long and 3.5 metres wide. Created by the Okamoto Design studio, this immaculate space with a minimalist decor perfectly illustrates the “Breathe” concept – ON AIR Theme in the SS21 Digital Design Study and shows that small spaces can also be a place of artistic expression.

In the town hall of Paris’ 5th arrondissement on place du Panthéon, Méghane Romagnoli presented her first collection for her graduation project at LISAA. Every year, the renowned fashion school organises a fashion show presenting its future graduates’ work. It is a way to get a glimpse of the up-and-coming generation’s work.
There was a real turning point several seasons ago in the cosmetics industry, which is moving towards becoming as natural as possible. Many brands are showing the will and carrying out intense research to achieve this.
